Bethlayne is an internationally touring performance artist and showgirl specializing in aerial dance and original cirque-style theatre. And is a badass. When she found and fell in love with the circus arts in 2014, she realized this was where her background in gymnastics and theatre merged, and she pitched her (circus)tent. She has trained all over the globe, including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Montreal, New York, Mexico, and Japan. Her practice includes lyra, lollipop, strap pole, chair acro, and flying pole. Performance highlights include Lightning in a Bottle, The Vespertine Circus, Pole Show LA, Ruckus and Rumpus, and Picklewater Industries. She is also a co-founder, producer, HBIC, resident Wicked Witch of the West, and performer at Bow & Arrow Circus Theatre Collective, where she creates and performs in shows like Dark Side of the Circus, 2BTru, and the show that started it all—Saturnalia. She is currently working on the much anticipated Amy in Wonderland and Twilight Zone Cabaret. She is currently based in New York City along with her sidekick Colby Jack the orange tabby cat, who specializes in belly rubs and snacks.
